HOW TO BOOK
Passengers requiring transport service
The TAC and WORKSAFE can pay for the reasonable cost of taxi travel where you are unable to drive or use public transport because of your injuries, and have no other mode of transport such as a partner or relative. These two organizations will generally only pay for a taxi for trips from your residence directly to funded treatment , rehabilitation, or a program of disability services and return.
Our group of companies are prepared to direct bill these organizations thus saving you paying up front and then waiting for reimbursement which could mean an extensive wait. However, to enable these organizations to continue paying for taxi transport, you are required to notify and hand in medical certificates to your insurer from your treating practitioners confirming that you are unable to drive a car or use public transport because of your injuries. Always give your insurer around a weeks notice.
If you have any doubts about your entitlements you should always consult a lawyer and we can recommend lawyers who deal with TAC and WORKSAFE claimants every day. It’s all part of the service.

When sending accounts for these jobs we provide claim numbers, dates and times of travel, and cost of each trip signed for by the client
All requests are acknowledged. Special rates can be negotiated for any job especially clients with long term injuries or those travelling long distances.

When using our services you are using a company with a strong emphasis on O H & S. In particular our drivers are trained in all aspects of manual handling, assisting clients, reducing and eliminating risks. Travelling with our company means you are more likely to be travelling a safer way. How many taxi companies do you know that have a fully implemented induction program taking in O H & S? How many drivers are aware of their responsibilities in their work place (the car)? We are always working on developing better oh and s procedures. We ensure our drivers are competent and fit to drive.
