What the TAC and Worksafe can do

The TAC and Worksafe can pay for the reasonable cost of taxi travel where you are unable to drive or use public transport because of your injuries, and have no other mode of transport such as a partner, relative or friend. Both organizations will pay for taxi trips from home to funded treatment rehabilitation or a program of disability services and return.
You are required to have medical certificates from your treating medical practitioner confirming that you are unable to drive a car or use public transport because of your injuries.
